Infocus Projector ReviewThe InFocus Corporation is a fairly new company that was founded in 1986, we say fairly new because companies like Epson, Panasonic and Toshiba have all been around for over 50 years. This is an American company that is publicly traded on the NASDAQ. The company offers products like the flat panel overhead displays, portable projectors with HDTV and Digital connectivity. They sell these brands under their company, ASK, InFocus, Proxima and ScreenPlay. Here are some of the home entertainment projectors that you may like . The In72 has a resolution of 854 x 480 with a fully recessed zoom lens that are made from all glass. It has a6 segment color wheel and a D65 color calibration. This model has a 900 ANSI lumens with front, rear and even ceiling mode. You get 3000 hours of life in the lamp which carries 160/200 watts. The minimum image size is a 2.7 feet and the maximum size is 13 feet. You get the projector, power cord, remote control, composite cable and a CD Rom with a user’s guide. This model can cost around $ 600 depending on where you get it, it could be more or less. The IN74EX has a brightness in Whisper mode of 800 max ANSI lumens and in High Bright mode you get 1000 Max ANSI lumens. The resolution is 1024 x 576 and it has a projector placement for the ceiling, front and rear projection. The minimum image size is 2.9 feet and a maximum size is 15 feet. The IN76 InFocus Projector is HDTV ready with 720 do Darkchip2 DLP technology. It is very compatible with HD DVD and Blu Ray Players. It also works great with game consoles like PS3 and XBOX. The IN76 has 1000 lumens with a very bright image like you see in the movies. This unit has a resolution of 1280 x 750, the color wheel has 6500K color temperature. The wattage is 160 watts and on whisper and 200 watts, the lamp life lasts for about 3000 hours. The lens projector has a distance of 5 feet to 20 feet. There are some great accessories for the InFocus Projectors, they have Pull down and pull up screens ranging in size from 70 inches to 92 inches. The Sp7205 is one of the more expensive projectors. It has a Whisper brightness of 950 max lumens and on high bright it has 1100 max lumens. The resolution is 1280 x 720 and a projector placement of either the ceiling, rear or front projection. The wattage is 220 on Whisper and 250 watts on bright. The minimum image size is 2.8 feet and a max image size is 17.6 feet. The standard lens projection is from 5 feet to 32 feet. This unit is priced around $ 2000. There are some great products at InFocus. They have a great product line and all of their equipment comes with warranties. InFocus has a good reputation even though they have not been on the scene for as long as Panasonic or Epson but their products are just as good.
